Haulo was founded by two brothers - Ben & James. We started discussing the concept behind Haulo in 2024, our family moves loads across the UK and we were surprised with the manual nature of operations (phone, email) and lack of technology available to small and medium size businesses to improve operations and grow their businesses.

The UK's road haulage industry contributes £13.5 billion to the UK economy annually. That makes the UK Haulage industry the 5th largest employer in the country. 85% of the 6000 Haulage companies are small to medium size businesses that operate fleets of 20 vehicles and under. We believe there is a significant opportunity to help haulage companies (Shippers and Drivers) operate more efficiently and grow their business through simple and effective technology.

Ben and James are both passionate about technology and the haulage industry, between them they have 30+ years experience of building customer centric platforms. We plan to launch Haulo v1 in Sep 2025, we will be working hard to collect your feedback and launch new features as quickly as possible. We are excited to be on this journey with you, it's unlikely we will get this right the first time, be vocal, tell us what you don't like, tell us what you need. We look forward to building a platform with you that you love; one that is simple to use, makes your life easier and enables your business to grow.
